Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar who narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid, from Uthman ibn Isa, from Abd Allah ibn Muskan, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Imam Sadiq (pbuh) that he said:
ثَلَاثَهٌ هُمْ أَقْرَبُ الْخَلْقِ إِلَی اللَّهِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ حَتَّی یَفْرُغَ النَّاسُ مِنَ الْحِسَابِ رَجُلٌ لَمْ تَدْعُهُ قُدْرَتُهُ فِی حَالِ غَضَبِهِ إِلَی أَنْ یَحِیفَ عَلَی مَنْ تَحْتَ یَدَیْهِ وَ رَجُلٌ مَشَی بَیْنَ اثْنَیْنِ فَلَمْ یَمِلْ مَعَ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَی الْآخَرِ بِشَعِیرَهٍ وَ رَجُلٌ قَالَ الْحَقَّ فِیمَا لَهُ وَ عَلَیْهِ.
There are three who are the closest of creation to Allah on the Day of Resurrection until people are finished with the reckoning:
1. A man whose power in his state of anger did not drive him to oppress those under his authority;
2. A man who walked [mediated] between two people and did not incline with one of them against the other by [even] a barley grain; and
3. A man who spoke the truth whether it was in his favor or against him.
